One of the coworkers at my job had the last name Elmore and he apparently was related to Elmores that built cars. It must’ve ran in his blood because he had a knack for building drag racing engines including an oddball smallblock Mopar that was immediately banned from smallblock racing because people were scared it’d stomps SBCs.
